The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency, Center for Domestic Preparedness is conducting an end-user functionality and efficacy assessment of colorimetric tub and chip chemical detection kits to validate their employment and effectiveness when used by emergency responders in weapons of mass destruction or hazardous materials environments. The CDP is requesting information from manufacturers on the detection kits. The assessment program will provide the emergency response community with feedback on equipment based on use in scenarios that replicate conditions that will be experience in incident response. Sol.
