Researchers at the Univ. of Southern Mississippi are developing advanced simulation software that uses avatars to simulate how to quickly evacuate a packed stadium in the event of an attack or threat under an effort being funded in part by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate.
