The effort seeks to advance fundamental knowledge in new technologies for the detection of nuclear threats and to develop intellectual capacity in fields relevant to long-term advances in nuclear detection capability. There is up to $58 million available over a five- year period from FY ’07 to FY ’11 for ARI solicitations.
