The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx) is seeking new requests for proposals from industry professionals on projects related to automated vulnerability detection and remediation, as well as supply visualization and analytics.
In its call for “Automated Vulnerability Detection and Remediation” proposals, DIUx is seeking automated systems help point out cyber weaknesses in DoD systems without source code, and which also have the ability to then generate patches for those vulnerabilities.
The window to submit proposals for this project is June 12 to 27.
DIUx also announced it is seeking solutions for “Supply Visualization and Analytics” projects to help the DoD consolidate knowledge of data that could potentially impact department supply chain lines.
Proposals are requested to provide a solution that integrates and visualize multiple disparate public and private data sources from suppliers and shippers to track thousands of shipments and provide real-time analysis on locations and echelons.
The DoD is requesting data solutions that present analysis in a clear, actionable manner, must ensure that end-solutions are deliverable, and is preferable on a mobile platform. DIUx is accepting proposals for this project between June 12 to 27, and solutions must be available immediately or working no later than four months after the contract is awarded.
The DIUx was launched in 2016 as a tool for connecting small businesses with opportunities to present the DoD with solutions to national defense challenges.
