Ducommun To Acquire Aerodynamic Systems Provider BLR Aerospace

Ducommun Inc. [DCO] this week said it has agreed to acquire BLR Aerospace, a developer and manufacturer of airframe components that improve aerodynamics, safety and efficiency on rotary- and fixed-wing commercial and military aircraft. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. BLR, which is based in Washington, provides strakes, winglets, props, LED lighting and vortex generators to its original equipment manufacturer and aftermarket customers.
