DynCorp International (DI) May 20 said it signed an agreement with the Army’s Red River Army Depot (RRAD) to enhance DI’s land systems life cycle support capabilities.
Through this Public/Private Partnership, DI’s exceptional capabilities in land systems life cycle support and management, combined with RRAD’s overall depot level operations expertise, is expected to offer a unique, holistic solution for the benefit of customers worldwide, the company said in a statement.
“Partnering with the Red River Army Depot gives DI the most technically proficient partner in the land systems life cycle support business,” said Michael Herrington, DynCorp International vice president of Operations, DynGlobal Group. “Additionally, the agreement bolsters DI’s ability to provide state-of-the-art solutions and an unparalleled ability to meet surge requirements, utilizing the U.S. Army’s vehicle depot systems.”
Red River Army Depot Commander Col. Doyle Lassitter said: “We are excited about the

In Texarkana, Texas, the 14,000 acre RRAD hosts 10 tenant organizations and a workforce of 3,500. RRAD has the only Defense Department capability to remanufacture road wheel and tracked vehicle systems.
