The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS) recently confirmed senior management changes, naming Thomas Enders as CEO and Arnaud Lagardère as chairman at its annual general meeting.

Enders, who previously headed EADS’ commercial aircraft division Airbus, succeeds Louis Gallois as CEO. Lagardère also heads his own media firm Lagardère SCA, which is the largest French private stockholder in EADS. Lagardère succeeds Bodo Uebber, who remains on the company’s board.

EADS also announced that Harald Wilhelm will be its new chief financial officer, succeeding Hans Peter Ring, who is retiring. EADS said it will announce the composition of its executive committee in September.
