The North American division of the European Aeronautic Space and Defence Co. (EADS) recently said it has restructured its senior leadership to better leverage the experience of its executive team and boost their responsibility.
“This management restructuring will unlock the significant talent and broad experience of our executive team as well as create a stronger foundation for continued growth in the U.S. market,” Sean O’Keefe, chairman and CEO of EADS North America, said in a statement. The executive changes went into effect on Jan. 1.
Members of the executive leadership team will report to O’Keefe and help guide the company’s growth in the United States. Mike Cosentino, formerly senior vice president for Strategy and Business Development, is now senior vice president for Operations, responsible for the company’s seven lines of business, programs, capture efforts, technology development and quality control.
Sam Adcock, who headed government relations for the company, has taken over Cosentino’s old job, leading four business development organizations, the strategy group and the bid and proposal team.
EADS North America Communications Chief Guy Hicks will also take on the government relations role while Paul Pastorek, the company’s chief counsel and corporate secretary, will add the chief administrative officer job to his portfolio. Pastorek now oversees all company legal activities including contracts, ethics and compliance, trade and export control, human resources policy, information technology, and supporting activities of the board of directors.
The new position of strategic adviser for mergers and acquisitions has been filled by David Oliver. Xavier Tardy will succeed Philippe Balducchi on March 1 as senior vice president for Finance.
David Fink is the chief human resources officer.
