Cyberbit Ltd, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. [ESLT], won a contract from enterprise software provider Infor Inc. to supply its Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) cybersecurity platform, the company said Thursday.

The EDR platform uses a signature-less approach to detect unknown cyber threats that bypass antivirus and next-generation endpoint security platforms while minimizing false positives, the company said. Infor plans to use it to support their internal cyber protection.

Elbit said the platform continuously records millions of low-level endpoint events across a network and correlates traces of malicious activity to verify an attack within seconds. After the platform verifies an attack, it displays the storyline allowing the platform to respond or providing analysts with information for an investigation.

Elbit noted the contract value is not material to the company.

“Infor selected Cyberbit for its significant experience, technical acumen, and outstanding customer references, and is pleased to have Cyberbit complement its detection capability in this increasingly complex environment of Cyber threats,” Elbit said in a statement.

“We are excited to be working with Infor to complement their forward-thinking IT security strategy. Innovative IT organizations such as Infor’s are adapting this proactive detection-based strategy and I look forward to supporting their organization,” Stephen Thomas, vice president for sales at Cyberbit, added..

Infor creates business software in the cloud for several industries, has 15,000 employees, and customers in over 170 countries.
