Finland and the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) June 9 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on mutual cooperation in key defense technology areas.
Finland is a long-standing participant in the NATO Partnership for Peace program with a strong track record of contributing to NATO missions and exercises, an alliance statement said.
The agreement makes it easier to collaborate in new areas such as net-enabled technologies that support 21st century peace operations, and the verification and validation of interoperability of key systems and technologies.
In 2007, Sweden was the first partner country to sign a similar agreement with NC3A.
