General Dynamics [GD] launched the first Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)-compliant cloud-based Customer Experience Platform (CXP) to provide a range of technology capabilities to help organizations operate tailorable contact centers, the company said Wednesday.
FedRAMP is a U.S. government program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.
GD said CXP is designed for government agencies and organizations with significant security and privacy requirements. It incorporates technology developed by Genesys, a provider of contact center technology, and allows for the modernization of contact centers by providing cloud and on premise deployment options, the company said.
“The CXP solution has scalability across geographies to meet the needs of large and dispersed contact centers while safeguarding data, enhancing mission success and meeting federal security standards,” Marcus Collier, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Health and Civilian Solutions division, said in a statement.
