General Dynamics [GD] Information Technology has received a new contract to continue providing information technology (IT) maintenance services for the Army’s Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
Under the deal, announced Wednesday, GDIT will remain INSCOM’s prime contractor for network operations, storage management, information assurance, web services and engineering support.
“General Dynamics knows how critical these services are to the U.S. Department of Defense and INSCOM missions. We are committed to adding value and enhanced security necessary to support INSCOM,” Mike Hatcher, vice president of GDIT’s defense portfolio, said.
GDIT will perform work for the contract at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and Fort Gordon in Georgia, was well as necessary INSCOM locations worldwide.
