GE Aviation Wins Multiyear T-700 Engine Work For Black Hawk Helicopters

GE Aviation [GE] said it has been awarded a multi-year contract extension from the Army that provides continued production of T700 turboshaft engines in support of both Army and Navy Black Hawk series helicopters through 2014. Sikorsky [UTX] produces the Black Hawk helicopter.
