General Dynamics Awarded $12 Million First Phase of Army Ground Soldier Ensemble

General Dynamics [GD] C4 Systems said it has been awarded one of three $12 million contracts to design a new information-systems ensemble for soldiers to use during combat operations. General Dynamics C4 Systems, Raytheon [RTN], and Rockwell Collins [COL] each received the Ground Soldier Ensemble contract awards from the Army's Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Contracting Center in support of Project Manager Soldier Warrior requirements.
