General Dynamics Canada [GD] May 26 said it is incorporating its Variable Message Format (VMF) interface into Colt Canada’s Soldier Weapon & Observer Reconnaissance Devices (SWORD) system, which is expected to extend data exchange capability all the way to the dismounted soldier.  Colt Canada is a wholly owned Subsidiary of Colt Defense LLC.
