General Dynamics [GD] and Thales Australia said March 11 they have signed a teaming memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the intention to submit a bid in response to the Land 400 Phase 2-Mounted Combat Reconnaissance Capability Request For Tender.
The two companies have a proven track record of working together across a broad range of vehicle programs. These include Canada’s Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) III Upgrade, the U.K. Foxhound and Scout Specialist Vehicle (SV) Programs, Switzerland’s Piranha CBRN Program, and in Australia the ASLAV Program for Crew Procedural Trainer and electro-optics.
