Goodrich [GR] this week said it has completed its purchase of Atlantic Inertial Systems (AIS) for $375 million from the private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Co., bolstering its capabilities in guidance, control and navigation systems.
J.F. Lehman acquired AIS from Britain’s BAE Systems in Aug. 2007.
Goodrich said last month when the deal was first announced that AIS would be slightly accretive to earnings in 2010 (Defense Daily, Nov. 19). AIS is expected to have $180 million in sales this year.
Evercore Partners Limited provided financial advisory services to J.F. Lehman on the deal.
