HII Reports Strong Second Quarter Led By Mission Technologies Segment

Just like the first quarter, HII [HII] on Thursday posted strong second quarter results driven by gains at its Mission Technologies segment with help from shipbuilding operations. Mission Technologies again benefited from work on C5ISR, cyber, electronic warfare, and space, which drove a 19 percent increase in sales, a seventh straight quarterly record, and a tripling in operating income.
