Intel Security has appointed Curt Aubley as vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) of the Americas, responsible for thought leadership, technical vision, and strategy to help provide cyber solutions for the North and South American markets.
Aubley previously was vice president and CTO for Next Generation Cyber Innovation & Technology within Lockheed Martin’s [LMT] Information Systems & Global Solutions segment.
Aubley will also lead cross-Intel Security initiatives on securing cloud computing and developing emerging technologies that deliver end-to-end, adaptive security and intelligence to protect critical infrastructure both within and across sectors. Intel Security, which is the former McAfee, is part of Intel [INTC].
Before working for Lockheed Martin, Aubley held senior positions with AT&T [T] and NCR Corp. [NCR]. He also served as the commander of 11th Signal Brigade Data Defense Network Unit deployed with the Army’s 10th Mountain division in Somalia.
