The private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Company last Thursday said its portfolio company AGI Holdings has acquired United Kingdom-based Aish Technologies Limited, a provider of electronic equipment used in harsh environments.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Aish makes ruggedized display systems, cathodic protection systems, and other subsystems for the U.K. and U.S. navies, and for other global defense and commercial customers.
AGI is a provider of situational awareness and LED lighting systems for naval vessels, military and commercial aircraft and ground vehicles, as well as naval visual landing systems, wind and speed sensors systems, filtration equipment, night vision test equipment and military aerospace subsystem repair and overhaul solutions. AGI is based in the U.K. and has operating subsidiaries in Connecticut and Canada.
“AGI offers its global naval customer base a differentiated portfolio of mission critical situational awareness, filtration and other related products and services,” Steve Brooks, chairman of AGI and a partner at J.F. Lehman, said in a statement. “We are excited to expand the breadth of that offering with Aish’s leading edge cathodic protection systems, as well as its ruggedized system offering in support of onboard communication and combat applications.”
