JIEDDO Seeks Sources for Acousto-Seismic C-IED Techniques

The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDD) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement related to acousto-seismic techniques for counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) applications. JIEDDO seeks proposals for the development of route clearance applications to defeat IEDs from a ground vehicle platform using acousto-seismic techniques to detect and defeat explosively formed penetrators and shallow buried explosives and pressure plates in the road or on the side of the road.
