Ken Krieg, former under secretary of defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, has joined the Board of Advisors of TASC Inc., which provides advanced system engineering and advisory services to the intelligence and defense communities, as well as to civilian agencies of the federal government.
“Our Board of Advisors holds deep expertise in the areas critical to TASC’s continued growth,” Wood Parker, president and CEO of TASC, said in a statement yesterday. “Ken’s experience in federal and, specifically, Department of Defense acquisitions will give us valuable insight into the needs and opportunities of our customers, as well as help us stay ahead of industry trends.”
Currently, Krieg runs Samford Global Strategies, a consulting practice he founded that focuses on helping clients through periods of strategic change.
He previously served from 2005 to 2007 as under secretary of defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, and as special assistant to the Secretary of Defense and director for Program Analysis & Evaluation.
Krieg earned a B.A. in history at Davidson College and a Masters in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
