Kongsberg Awarded CROWS Framework Agreement Valued Up To $940 Million

Norway’s Kongsberg Gruppen late last week said it's Protech Systems was awarded a new, five year framework agreement valued up to $940 million from the U.S. Army for production, system support and technical engineering support of the M153 CROWS Remote Weapon Stations (RWS). Kongsberg received the first order for $9.1 million under the framework agreement. Australian firm Electro Optic Systems (EOS) also had submitted a proposal.
