The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said it notified Congress recently of a possible Foreign Military Sale of 60 Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) missiles and associated parts and support for an estimated cost of $4.2 billion.
In addition to 60 PAC-3 missiles, Kuwait requests four Patriot radars, four Patriot Engagement Control Stations, 20 Patriot Launching Stations, two Information Coordination Centrals, 10 Electric Power Plants, communication and power equipment, personnel training, training equipment, spares and associated training.
Principal contractors are Raytheon [RTN] and Lockheed Martin [LMT].
The deal is contingent on Congress’ approval.
