The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has certified L-3 Communications [LLL] eXaminer SX explosives detection system (EDS) for use in U.S. airports. The system is smaller and lighter than the current series of eXaminer EDS and is suitable for airport lobbies and can be integrated with baggage handling systems.
