Lockheed Martin Wins $366 Million South Korea Aegis Contract

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded Lockheed Martin [LMT] a $366 million contract to build and integrate DDG Aegis Weapon System baseline K2 into South Korea ships.Under the Oct. 31 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract, the company will provide for combat system installation, staging and integrated logistics support required to install, test and deliver the Aegis Combat System K2 baselines for three South Korean destroyers.The South Korean Navy has three Sejong the Great-class guided-missile destroyers that feature the Lockheed…
