Israel’s Magal Security Systems, Ltd., says it has received purchase orders to provide security systems for airport, border and critical infrastructure protection. The largest order, $4.6 million, is for reconstruction of a border protection solution in Israel. A $1.6 million order is an extension of a perimeter intrusion detection system at an airport in Eastern Europe and includes infrastructure, a Taut Wire barriers and a command and control system. Another order is worth $1.3 million and is for a Volumetric Intrusion Detection System for various nuclear power station sites in South East Asia. The final order is for $1 million to protect two airports in South East Asia and includes Taut Wire and vibration sensors for intrusion detection.
