ManTech International [MANT] last month acquired MTCSC Inc., a provider of C4ISR systems integration, cyber and network engineering capabilities, for $75 million in cash.
The deal is expected to be accretive to earnings in 2011.
California-based MTCSC has several large contracts with the Marine Corps, mostly related to classified programs. The company also has a large presence in Northern Virginia and will be integrated with ManTech’s Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology (SEAT) group.
“The addition of MTCSC will help ManTech further expand our cyber and C4ISR solutions portfolio, allowing us to provide more comprehensive services to current and future customers,” Terry Ryan, SEAT group president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. “The company has a strong pipeline of business opportunities and is well-known for its support of the Marine Corps.”
