Millennium Space Systems Nabs $414 Million SDA Award For FOO Fighter Satellites

The Space Development Agency (SDA) on Tuesday awarded a potential $414 million contract to Boeing’s [BA] Millennium Space Systems unit to build and deliver eight missile defense fire control satellites for launch in late 2026 as part of a demonstration effort. The firm fixed-price award is the first for Millennium with SDA and was made under the Fire-control On Orbit-support-to-the-war Fighter (FOO Fighter) program, which is part of the agency’s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA).
