More Satellites Allowing NRO To Transition From Demonstrations To Operations Of Space-Based Moving Target Indication

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) has been using prototype satellites to demonstrate space-based capabilities for being able to detect and track ground-based moving targets and is ready to begin shifting to operating with this capability given the many satellites that it has launched in the past year, the agency’s top official said on Thursday.
