Navy Installs First MQ-25 Control Room On Aircraft Carrier

The Navy said on Aug. 15 it recently installed the first new control room on an aircraft carrier, the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77), where the operators will control the future MQ-25 Stingray unmanned tanker.  The installation of this Unmanned Air Warfare Center (UAWC) came after a multi-year effort across multiple ships availability periods coordinated with its deployment schedule. The UAWC has hardware and software that make up the first operational and integrated Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS)…
