Navy Introduces C-UAS Capabilities To LCS Ship During Red Sea Operations

The Navy last summer introduced a software change to a surface-to-surface missile package aboard one of its Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) assigned to the 5th Fleet while supporting operations in the Red Sea to give it the ability to shoot down drones, a service official said on Wednesday.
