The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) in late December awarded BAE Systems a $182.7 million contract to develop and sustain analytic modeling capabilities, and integrate or replace capabilities developed under the predecessor NGA Analytics Services contract.

The GEOINT Enterprise Modeling Cutter Services contract is with BAE’s Information and Electronic Systems, Integration business in San Diego and covers five years.

Booz Allen Hamilton [BAH] was the prime contractor for the previous Analytic Services contract.

Separately, NGA also awarded RTX [RTX] a potential five-year $51.9 million contract to develop and sustain capabilities to that link suppliers of geospatial intelligence to user requests. The Collection Matching Data Fabric award is a new contract effort by NGA and includes a base-year and four one-year options.

Also, in December, the agency awarded Maxar Technologies $1.8 million under its existing Broad Agency Announcement, Boosting Innovative GEOINT Research. An award notice on the government’s Sam.gov business opportunities site described the research under Topic 10 of the BAA as “Advanced 3D Analytics Tool Development, Enhancement, and Integration.”
