Northrop Grumman [NOC] has received a 20-month, $5.5 million task order from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to design, develop, conduct, evaluate and provide operational support for the agency’s regional preparedness exercises. The award was made under the National Exercise Program indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The company will support preparedness exercises in 28 states and U.S. territories. “Winning this competition is a testament to our performance over the last two years supporting the last Regional Exercise Support Program task order as well as the 2009 National Level Exercise,” says Rob Womelsdorf, Northrop Grumman Technical Services program manager for the task order. Northrop Grumman’s teammates on the work include Battelle, ICF International [ICFI] , DETech, and General Physics Corp. [GPX].
