NuWave Solutions on Tuesday said it has acquired analytics software solutions provider ProModel Government Services in a deal that further scales the small company and adds predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities with franchise customers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. NuWave, which had about 160 employees before the acquisition, added about 90 more from ProModel, including senior management.
ProModel, which is based in Allentown, Pa., provides its software solutions primarily to Defense Department and other national security customers going back more than 25 years.
“It’s critical that the Department of Defense and other government organizations not only make the best decisions for today, but also have the tools to accurately predict how those decisions will impact future plans,” Reggie Brothers, CEO of NuWave, said in a statement. “ProModel Government Services is uniquely qualified to help federal government agencies with their decision making, and help ensure that their processes are more efficient and resources are better managed.”
NuWave, a portfolio company of the private equity firm AE Industrial Partners
that provides data analytics solutions to the federal government, earlier this month acquired BigBear Inc., adding cloud and additional data analytics capabilities as well as franchise customers in DoD and the intelligence community.
ProModel’s financial adviser on the deal was Baird and NuWave was advised by Ernst & Young.
