Oman would like to spend $54 million on a possible Foreign Military Sale for logistics support and training for two C-130J-30 aircraft, including associated equipment and parts for an estimated cost of $54 million, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress on June 30.
Oman has requested the possible sale of logistics support and training for two C-130J-30 aircraft being procured through a Direct Commercial Sale, two AN/AAR-47 Missile Approach Warning Systems, 2 AN/ALE-47 Countermeasure Dispenser Sets, two AN/ALR-56M Radar Warning Receivers, communication equipment, software support, repair and return, installation, aircraft ferry and refueling support, spare and repair parts, support and test equipment, publications and technical documentation, personnel training and training equipment, U.S. Government and contractor engineering, technical, and logistics support services, and related elements of logistical and program support.
Participating contractors will be determined at a later date. There are no known offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale.
