The Parsons company Secure Mission Solutions won the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Capabilities Development (C4CD) Support Services task order (TO) to support U.S. Cyber Command, the company said Dec. 14.
The award comes from the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) under Parsons’ prime, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the GSA. The task order is competitively bid and set to last for five years to provide services to meet the requirements of Cyber Command’s Capability Development Group (CDG). The award’s value was not published.
Parsons is the only awardee on this particular task order.
CDG directs cyberspace capability development efforts. It translates operational needs into capability requirements in alignment with the command’s mission of ensuring operational resilient of the Department of Defense Information Networks (DODIN).
Under this task order, Parsons will deliver a range of services to support the CDG including research development, test, and evaluation; engineering; information technology; and professional services.
“Parsons is pleased to be able to bring our cyber expertise and resources to bear to meet the dynamic C4 and capability requirements of the CDG. This award continues our longstanding support of USCYBERCOM’s mission to ensure the continued integrity of the Department of Defense Information Network and access to cyberspace,” Carey Smith, Parsons Group President, said in a statement.
