Perspecta [PRSP] has filed a protest after losing out on a potential 10-year, $7.6 billion contract award to provide enterprise cloud computing services to the Pentagon.
The company filed its post-award protest
on Sept. 9, with a decision from the Government Accountability due by Dec. 18.
Late last month, the Pentagon and the General Services Administration awarded a team led by CSRA, now part of General Dynamics [GD] IT (GDIT), the deal for the Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) cloud program (Defense Daily, Aug. 29).
Under DEOS, GDIT will work to replace DoD’s legacy IT office applications with a cloud-based solution.
The 10-year blanket purchase agreement includes a five-year base period, a pair of two-year options and a final one-year option.
