The private equity firm Court Square Capital yesterday said it has acquired Wyle, a provider of aerospace and information technology solutions to the federal government, from Littlejohn & Co., another private equity firm.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Littlejohn acquired Wyle in 2003. The company has about $800 million in sales and 3,800 employees. There are no changes in Wyle’s organization and management team.
“We are excited about Wyle’s future prospects with a strong new financial partner, which will facilitate strategic investments to achieve the company’s growth aspirations,” George Melton, Wyle’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
Wyle works on NASA’s human space mission and a range of defense contracts.
