Electronic Consulting Services (ECS) has acquired the government and commercial information technology company Ilumina Solutions, giving its expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ilumina, which is based in Maryland, provides large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning software implementation and infrastructure design and development. The company’s customers include the Army and Navy as well as General Dynamics [GD], L-3 Communications [LLL], the Logistics Management Institute, Avanco International and Howard County Maryland.

“The acquisition of Ilumina gives ECS leading expertise in the DoD ERP space and brings another company into our family with a similar focus on customer satisfaction, supporting the mission, and a high standard of quality work,” George Wilson, president and chief operating officer of ECS, said in a statement.

Ilumina has more than 80 full-time personnel. The company’s financial adviser on the transaction was The McLean Group.
