Ranger Rotorcraft Group Inc., a market leader in helicopter technical services, reports that through December 2008, it achieved record levels of international business growth for rotorcraft customizations, completions, military retrofits, spare parts, and related technical operations on civilian and government operated helicopters.

Each of Ranger’s rotorcraft business units have served customers with helicopter projects, helicopter subsystems, or helicopter spares in more than 34 countries outside of the United States in the past 24 months, 2007 through 2008.

Helicopter completions and customizations from Texas Aviation Services have gone to clients in Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Mexico, and elsewhere.

Helicopter air conditioners from Integrated Flight Systems have been sold in Canada, New Zealand, Guatemala, Russia, and other countries.

Rotorcraft spares and components have been shipped as far away as Japan, Iceland, France, and Australia.

Helicopter engineering projects from Ranger AeroDesign are underway for new customers in Malaysia and Japan, besides domestic engineering accounts.

Further, retrofitted military Blackhawks are already back in active service, supporting our U.S. warfighters in Iraq and Kosovo.

Group backlogs for 2009 show roughly 50 percent of current revenues are derived from international customers. The largest current destinations for international expansions are Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, but the company expects to also see significant growth in the next two to three years for its products in China and Russia.

Edward Bolden, President of Ranger Rotorcraft Group, said: “We are privileged to count so many international customers as clients and friends. International business is relationship-driven, and our outstanding teams of professionals in our multi-lingual enterprise know what it takes to meet the discriminating expectations and cultural nuances of both our domestic and overseas customers.”
