Raytheon [RTN] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of Applied Signal Technology for $490 million, boosting its capabilities in integrated sensor solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications.

About 90 percent of Applied Signal’s business is with classified customers.

Applied Signal, which will be renamed Raytheon Applied Signal Technology and become part of Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems segment, specializes in systems, products and services related to communications and signals intelligence, cyber intelligence, and sensor signature processing.
