Raytheon [RTN] executive Walter Doran, who has with expertise in Asian military and political affairs spanning decades, has been appointed to the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) board of directors.
The retired Navy admiral is president of Raytheon Asia for Raytheon International Inc.
“Raytheon views India and its industry as a long-term strategic partnership that requires time and energy to build a foundation of trust,” Doran said. “The U.S. and India have much in common in terms of dealing with security, modernization of airports and transportation systems, and military matters.”
The U.S.-India Business Council is the premier business advocacy organization composed of top-tier U.S. and Indian companies whose aim is to deepen two-way trade and strengthen commercial ties.
