The U.S. Army awarded Raytheon [RTN] a $202 million firm-fixed-price, level-of-effort foreign military sales (FMS) contract for engineering services for the Patriot weapon systems program, the Defense Department said Feb. 1.

The FMS includes Patriot work for Germany, Israel, Japan, the Republic of Korea (South Korea), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Qatar, Spain, and Taiwan.

Bids were originally solicited via the internet with only Raytheon’s received. Work will be performed in multiple locations with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2018.

The total contract cost was obligated at the time of award in Fiscal 2017 funds categorized as other; Army other procurement; Army operations and maintenance (O&M); and research development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E).

The contracting activity is Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
