Saab Wins $494.4 Million Deal To Deliver Army’s New XM919 Shoulder-Launched Munition

The Army has awarded Saab a $494.4 million contract to deliver the service’s new shoulder-launched XM919 Individual Assault Munition (IAM), the Pentagon announced on Tuesday. Sweden’s Saab will provide its AT-4 Confined Space Tandem Warhead (AT4CS TW) capability for the XM919 IAM program, beating out bids from two other competitors.
