Saudi Arabia Requests $4 Billion For National Guard Modernization Continuation

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said Thursday it notified Congress of a potential foreign military sale (FMS) to Saudi Arabia for the continuation of a Saudi National Guard modernization effort worth $4 billion. The continuation of a United States-supported effort to modernize the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) would include: SANG operation, support and equipment and modernization program support, personnel training and training equipment, transportation and repair.
