Savi, which has been a prime contractor on the RFID I, II and III contracts, said that RFID IV is worth $200 million.
Savi’s other teammates on its proposal include Evanhoe & Associates, an information technology solutions provider that provides a broad spectrum of automatic identification and data capture expertise, Austria’s IDENTEC Solutions, which has expertise in long-range active RFID solutions, Ubisense, which provides real-time locations solutions to give customers greater awareness to their operations, Honeywell’s [HON] Intermec unit, which provides mobile RFI handheld computers and readers, and Northrop Grumman [NOC], which will provide technical engineering services, integration and training services.
Savi, Northrop Grumman, Unisys [UIS], and Systems & Processes Engineering Corp. are the incumbents on the RFID III contract.
