The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has designated SRCTec's Lightweight Surveillance and Target Acquisition Radar (LSTAR) as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) under the SAFETY Act. The SAFETY Act provides liability protections to manufacturers and sellers of anti-terrorism technologies. The LSTAR system has also been added to the DHS Responder Knowledge Base SAFETY Act designated Product List.
