By Geoff Fein Sean Stackley was sworn in yesterday as Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition ASN (RDA). Stackley, a retired Navy officer, has been Republican staff lead for the Senate Armed Services Committee Seapower subcommittee for more than two years. The Senate approved his nomination to the post last week (Defense Daily, July 25). He relieves John Thackrah, who served as acting ASN (RDA) since Nov. 16, 2007, when then ASN RDA Delores Etter resigned.…
