Sweden and Saab Sign Contract For Overhaul And Modification Of Corvettes

Saab AB signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Material Administration for a regular, yearly overhaul and modification of the Swedish Navy’s two Stockholm-class corvettes, the company said Friday.The order covers 2016-2017 with the corvette work to be undertaken in Karlskrona, Sweden. The contract provides for the technical detail design and execution of the annual overhaul and modification program.Saab is set to conduct the overhaul and modification program for the HMS Stockholm and HMS Malmö.
